Pantai Teluk Kemang

Teluk Kemang is the most popular beach in Port Dickson and is located at KM12 of Jalan Pantai. The beach has an attractive landscape and it offers the visitors various sports activities like water scooter, wind surfing and kayaking, aside from non-beach activities like golfing and sightseeing.

The Teluk Kemang Public Park is located on 1.8 km stretch of beach lined with swaying casuarina trees. It is equipped with basic facilities like car parks, shower facilities, toilets and stalls selling souvenirs. Ample food stalls, food court and restaurants can be found along the beach serving local dishes and seafood.

Accommodation is not a hassle at all, and visitors will be spoilt with the choices of rest houses, camping sites, budget guesthouses and five-star resort hotels. If you want a comfortable stay just like staying in your own apartment or home, our Ocean View Resort is just a mile away.

Cape Rachado

Cape Rachado or Tanjung Tuan was declared as a forest reserve in 1921 as it houses quite a number of bird species, insects and reptiles. It is a coastal forest composed of both rainforest and mangrove swamps that cover stretches of the beach. But if you take a short trek up the hill from the beach, you will find a classic lighthouse built on top of a fort-like foundation structure.

Cape Rachado Lighthouse or Rumah Api Tanjung Tuan was originally built by the Portuguese in the 16th century. The lighthouse is still operational until today and now even accommodates a revolving MEASAT Radar used for transmissions and communications.

Cape Rachado is also a strategic place for bird watching especially between the months of September and March every year when flocks of sparrows, honey buzzards, swifts, hawks, and eagles stop over during their migration.

You can also find a spot here where the legendary 15th century Malay warrior Hang Tuah was claimed to have set foot. Cape Rachado is located 15 km from Port Dickson town and 60 km from Kuala Lumpur.

Blue Lagoon

The Blue Lagoon is a short-stretched beach situated about 15 km from Port Dickson town. It provides a breathtaking view of the surrounding greenery and the blue open sea.

An excellent spot for swimming, wind surfing, boating and water skiing, the Blue Lagoon is only 500 miles from Monkey Bay, the only place where you can see beautiful corals under the clear water in Port Dickson.

You can easily find a lot of accommodations in Blue Lagoon as many hotels and resorts are located here.

Fort Kempas

Fort Kempas or the Pengkalan Kempas Historical Complex is situated 35 km from Port Dickson. Its main attraction is a tomb belonging to Syeikh Ahmad Majnun, an Islamic teacher who was slain in a battle with the army of Sultan Mansor Shah of Malacca. Dating back to the 14th century, it is believed to be the oldest Muslim grave in Malaysia. The site has several megalith stones or ‘Batu Bersurat’ with stone inscriptions which depicts his struggle and history.

PD Ostrich ShowFarm

If you come by to PD, don’t miss the chance to go to the Port Dickson Ostrich Farm. At the farm, visitors are shown the proper way to ride an ostrich, to handle a real ostrich egg and even stand on it to see if it breaks!

Located only 1.5 hours drive from KL, the farm is the place where we can smell, touch and learn about the magnificent creature.

There is a café situated at the farm that serves healthy and delicious food made from ostrich meat; like ostrich satay and burgers.

You can also purchase rare and exotic products from their souvenir shop like the ostrich leather wallet and handbags, as well as cosmetic products derived from ostrich oil.

Port Dickson Mini Zoo

Located at KM15 of Jalan Pantai, Port Dickson houses its only zoo. Be it a mini one, it displays a wide range of animal species i.e., rabbits, camels, houses, chickens, snakes, monkeys etc.

At about 90 km, it takes about one and a half hours drive from KL to reach Port Dickson Mini Zoo. While watching the fascinating animals, you may enjoy fresh fruits and juices at its own restaurant built in the zoo compound.
